Dublin New Year Festival 2012
New Years in Dublin is a big celebration that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime. From December 30, 2011 to January 1, 2012, guests can enjoy all the festivities prepared throughout the city. Traditional Irish music, choral performances, and celebrity guest appearances are some of the venues guests can take advantage of. Don't forget to pick up tickets to Dublin's annual flagship performances. The Dublin Gospel Choir at Christchurch, and New Year Live at Guinness Storehouse. The Guinness Storehouse will feature performances by: The Knights of Leon, Ryan Sheridan, and Rattle and Hum.


Temple Bar TradFest 2012

The Temple Bar TradFest is an annual festival that celebrates Irish music, and its culture. From January 25-29 guests can enjoy different performances from the international Celtic Irish dance show, over 200 free events, street performers and gigs for kids. Attend concerts in historic venues like The Christ City and City Hall. Enjoy the music of Ireland's best artists as Dublin City Hall plays their music at lunch time, and host intimate concerts throughout the week. While a majority of the events are free, there are number of venues that will require you to purchase a ticket to attend.

St. Patrick's Festival 2012

St. Patrick's Day is one of the biggest celebrations in Ireland. This yearly international festival celebrates Ireland's heritage, and the parade is one of the most memorable events of the celebration. From March 16-19 you can stand proud with other Irishmen to celebrate Ireland's national holiday. There will be fireworks, plenty of green beer and a host of family activities to keep every age group occupied.

Franco-Irish Literary Festival 2012

The Franco-Irish Literary Festival made its debut during the springtime of 2000, and has since been a big hit amongst writers world-wide. It takes place every year in April for three days. All events are open, and free to the public. Attendees can look forward to book signings, sales, readings, debates and interviews. Translation services are also provided for free in English and French.

Dublin City Soul Festival 2012

Experience the soul of Dublin from May 24-27. It is a celebration of peace, unity and love at this three day festival. Activities include The Soul Picnic, a gospel brunch, and the rising Star Showcase, which features emerging artists. Most of the events are free to attend.

Dublin LGBTQ Pride Festival 2012

Dublin's Pride Festival usually takes place from mid-to-late June of each year. The Dublin Pride Festival celebrates the recognition of the LGBTQ partnership rights. Guests can expect to experience Ireland's second largest parade, plenty of shows and special performances. Come out, and show your support for family and friends who are LGBTQ.
